Office-to-hotel conversions benefit from an early understanding of what the existing building systems can support.
At 525 B Street in downtown San Diego, InnoDez performed an MEP investigation and existing-conditions assessment for a 22-story high-rise proposed for conversion from offices to a hotel. The review covered mechanical systems, plumbing services, electrical infrastructure, shaft and riser availability, and observable equipment and capacity.
The resulting preliminary assessment narrative documented existing conditions, anticipated modifications, constraints and areas needing further investigation to support early planning, budgeting and next-phase design coordination.
